It seems like the cool new thing to do on a saturday night is update diaryland. All the kids are doing it!

I'm already getting sick of this layout (no offense to the designer) but still yearn for the two-plus weeks i have to wait until I can get my roadrunner up and running.

I start my new job on Monday, hurrah! My big "na-na-na-na-na-na" points come from the fact that I get a brand new workstation complete with a flat-panel monitor. So glad I ended up passing up on that time warner gig.

Troy is entering some artwork into the SC State Fair, how exciting as well as trying to get some "respec" from some of the local galleries, hopefully in time for vista lights.

Weird thing is, I've been painting with him. I'm no artist by any means. I was lucky to be able to draw stick people with a degree of accuracy, but I really, really, like to paint. So when T paints, B paints. I've got a few canvas' and some collage work I'm thinking about putting into the fair. Is furniture refinishing a category in the fair? Cause I got that one DOWN, man!

Our vacation has been awesome, we've been drinking margaritas before noon, eating lots of key lime pie and watching really really bad movies. (i.e. Cabin Fever, Wrong Turn, the Scary Movie Trilogy) It was such a good idea to stay home.

*Speaking of movies, Spiderman 2 was awesome.*

We're selling my car before Jan. and getting one of those new Scions. Not the boxy one, the moonroof one. I'm full of glee. I want a blue one.

Jay is moving back to NY, and I am sad and will miss him. I know Troy will miss having a guy friend to hang with, but since we're planning to move either there or Chicago by next year, it's not so tragic. We decided since we think it's way too hot here, moving to either Atlanta or Savannah would be...ultimately stupid.

*sigh*

Wish I could sleep.
