It was certainly worth a shot.

I've finally made up my mind and I'm going full throttle into cosmetology school. If it never works out, I'll get someone (and I know exactly who) to serenade me with a little "Beauty School Dropout". How often does a chance like that come along?
I have spent the past year really thinking about what I want to do for a living. I could finish school, but I don't think I would actually do anything with my degree. What are your options? I could teach, except I don't see my self being around kids all day. I would rather be a contestant on "Who Wants To Suck My Brain Out Through My Ears?"
With that degree in English of all things, I could land myself a job in an office. Sitting down all day. Doing Excel spreadsheets and working for cheap bastards who won't even buy you white-out. Oh wait. I do that Now.
For nothing more than your amusement, I've prepared a little impromptu list of my former jobs:
Waitress (thats a given)
Photo Editor
Receptionist
Contracts Assistant
Real Estate Paralegal
Kennel Manager
Telemarketer
Collections Agent
Call Center Representative (Tech Support Phone Monkey)
Vintage Clothing Purchaser
Leasing Consultant
Cashier and chicken de-boner. (Please, I beg of you, if you must eat at KFC, skip the pot pie!)

If I can't have my first pick (International Superstar) or my second (Carrie Bradshaw) then I'll have to find something in between. And I know this is what I want to do because I feel that sense of conviction, that feeling that this is one of the five or six things I could do for the rest of my life.
Unless...there's someone out there who will pay me for hunting down vintage Couture?
