Korbel Time!
In celebration (?) of the new year, I decided to conduct the interview I always give myself mentally just before midnight, only this year I'm giving it a forum, if you will. So here goes...
Lizabeth1st: Well, here we are. It's been quite a year.
Lizabeth2nd: So It has. Can we get on with it?
Lizabeth1st: Okay, okay. So, what are the promises you made to yourself this year that you didn't keep?
Lizabeth2nd: Pretty much all of them. Instead of reading more, I read less. In fact my reading for the year pretty much equals two Dark Tower books and half a page of Sarte. I didn't really lose any weight, and luckily didn't gain too much either. And I wasn't nicer to Troy, my mom, or anybody.
Lizabeth1st: I see, I see. What was the most embarrassing thing you did this year, you damned illiterate?
Lizabeth2nd: I guess that would have to be paying $7.00 to see Alexander in the theater.
Lizabeth1st: Once again proving my point that you are at best mildly retarded.
Lizabeth2nd: Don't make fun of the mentally ill!
Lizabeth1st: (sigh) Fine, fine. What was the biggest mistake you made in 2004?
Lizabeth2nd: Moving in with that sad, bitchy wiccan and her horrid, horrid feet. That, and letting Troy run the Attic Fan unattended.
Lizabeth1st: Your Celebrity Boyfriends from 2004 include Joss Whedon, Colin Firth and Jason Lee. Any thoughts on who the lucky guys will be in 2005?
Lizabeth2nd: Definitely Clancy Brown. Not only is he slightly creepy as only a guy I like can be, he has an enourmous...talent, perhaps?
Lizabeth1st: Does your mind ever come out of the gutter? Any Celebrity Girlfriends this year?
Lizabeth2nd: I still maintain my not-a-lesbian-ness, but If I were to have what Willow Rosenberg would call a "study buddy" I guess it would be Inara from Firefly.
Lizabeth1st: What are your goals for 2005, or should I say what are the promises you'll break in the coming year?
Lizabeth2nd: Well, I guess I'd like to read more...
Lizabeth1st: Oh, shut up.
